PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide capable of properly and simply filling up a transparent resin between the light guide and a light source in particular, a light guide module using the light guide, a manufacturing method for the light guide, and a manufacturing method for the light guide module.SOLUTION: In a plate-shaped light guide 1 having a recessed section 8 for storing the light source 3 and propagating light incident from a light incident surface 8a arranged on the recessed section 8, the recessed section 8 opens at a first face 6a side as a primary face of the light guide 6. The light incident surface 8a is set up to be a surface crossing with the primary face, and a light-transmitting soft elastomer 7 is filled up in the recessed section 8.
