PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow reception on a client side of video data having image quality higher than that obtained by general resolution conversion even when a network bandwidth between a server and a client is not wide enough to transmit high resolution video data.SOLUTION: A transmission device creates a parameter required for creating high resolution image data having second resolution higher in resolution than first resolution on the basis of positional deviation information between a plurality of pieces of image data having the first resolution and optical characteristics of an imaging unit used for obtaining the plurality of pieces of image data. The transmission device then transmits the created parameter and the plurality of pieces of image data to a reception device. |
