PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power while enhancing security.SOLUTION: When a printing instruction is received, image data related to the printing instruction is stored in a main memory connected to a main CPU. The image data is transferred to an image processing memory connected to an image processing CPU, and further converted to drive data (S106). When a sleep mode is released (S112: YES), the image data stored in the main memory is stored on the image processing memory. The image data is converted to the drive data, to restore the drive data to the image processing memory (S113). |
