PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming apparatus having a plurality of motors driving a plurality of rotation bodies, which is capable of suppressing friction between each drum driven by each motor, and a belt when changing a printing speed even after a load change is generated due to permanence.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus forms, when changing a printing speed, a speed profile on the basis of a pre-change speed and a set target speed, changes the speed to reach the target speed following the formed speed profile, determines a speed changing longest time motor which is a motor taking longest time to reach the target speed among a plurality of motors, and corrects speed changing time of the motors other than the speed changing longest time motor to the determined speed changing longest time. |
