PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for preventing scattering of radioactive substances while preventing weeds, having both a weed-prevention effect for controlling the growth of weeds and the effect of preventing scattering of radioactive substances since the sheet for preventing scattering of radioactive substances while preventing weeds has a zeolite-containing coating layer formed on the surface of a weed-prevention sheet having a light-blocking effect and water-permeability; wherein by covering the surface of contaminated excavation embankment temporarily left in a construction site where radioactive substances fell, or the surface of fields, roads and the like with the sheet for preventing scattering of radioactive substances while preventing weeds, photosynthesis is prevented by using the high light-blocking effect of the weed-prevention sheet to control the growth of weeds, while also a soil environment can be maintained because of water permeability, and the radioactive substances can be adsorbed and held to the sheet for preventing scattering of radioactive substances while preventing weeds by the adsorption action of the zeolite in the coating layer.SOLUTION: A coating layer 2 containing zeolite Z is formed on the surface of a light-blocking and water-permeable weed-prevention sheet 1. |
