PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size speaker having a diaphragm and a suspension capable of reproducing bass sound and enhancing the reliability by high assembly precision.SOLUTION: A speaker 110 includes: a housing 111 having a magnet 11 therein; a plate 12 attached to the upper face of the magnet; a voice coil 15 disposed in a magnetic void 14 formed in an outer periphery of the plate; a diaphragm 16 with a periphery 16b thereof is connected with the upper end of the voice coil; and a suspension 117 that connects the diaphragm to the housing. The suspension has a first fixing portion 21 fixed to the diaphragm and a second fixing portion 22 fixed to the housing. The second fixing portion is located at a position upper than the first fixing portion, and the first fixing portion is disposed in an inner region D1 located at the inner side than the inner periphery of the diaphragm as viewed from the top.
