PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel position detecting device by which a wheel position is more accurately specified.SOLUTION: Gear information indicating teeth positions of gears 12a to 12d rotating on the basis of detection signals of wheel speed sensors 11a to 11d for detecting passing of teeth of the gears 12a to 12d which are rotated interlocking with wheels 5a to 5d, is acquired for each predetermined interval. A variation allowance range is set on the basis of the tooth position at reception timing of a frame. When the tooth position at receiving timing of the frame after the variance allowance range is set, is not within the variation allowance range, a wheel with this tooth position is excluded from a candidate wheel to which a transmitter 2 having transmitted that frame is mounted, and a remaining last wheel is registered as a wheel to which the transmitter 2 from which the frame is transmitted is mounted. Such the wheel position detection is not performed in a low speed range. Thereby, execution of specification of a wheel position performed on the basis of a tooth position which is transmitted from a brake ECU 10 and is possibly inaccurate, can be prevented. |
