PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device module using a phosphor which can be used in high-temperature conditions.SOLUTION: A light emitting device module includes a light emitting element having a main emission peak above 420 nm and below or at 500 nm, and a phosphor layer formed on the light emitting element. A junction temperature of the light emitting element during continuous driving is from 100°C to 200°C inclusive. The phosphor layer contains a phosphor which absorbs light emitted from the light emitting element and emits light having a main emission peak from 650 nm to 665 nm inclusive, represented by the general formula (Mg,AE)(Ge,Sn)OHA:zMn, in which: AE represents one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Ca and Sr; HA represents one or more elements selected from the group consisting of F and Cl; and 2.54≤a≤4.40, 0.80≤b≤1.10, 3.85≤c≤7.00, 0≤d≤2.00, 0≤x≤0.05, 0≤y≤0.10, and 0<z≤0.03 should be satisfied. |
