PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for predicting excretion which is inexpensive and used in a daily life without imposing any physical and spiritual burden on a subject of excretion prediction, and can determine whether the subject feels the need of excretion soon.SOLUTION: A sleep phase determining section 7 determines a wake phase and a REM sleep phase of a subject to be determined on the basis of time-series data of the strength of a biological signal of the subject which is detected in a non-invasive and non-restricted state. An excretion predicting section 8 predicts as to whether the subject feels the need of excretion soon on the basis of the subject's tendency of going to lavatory during sleep which is classified based on the periodicity of the REM sleep and wake phases of the subject determined by the sleep phase determining section 7. |
