PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas valve device in which a liquid matter such as a boiled-over matter or the like does not adversely affect an inner component by preventing the boiled-over matter from entering the gas valve device provided in a cooking stove body.SOLUTION: A gas valve device includes a valve body 5 arranged in a cooking stove body 10 of a gas cooking stove 1, and a heating power adjusting lever 4 which is projected forward from an opening 16 formed at a front panel 15 of the cooking stove body 10, and adjusts the heating power of a gas burner by moving horizontally. The heating power adjusting lever 4 includes an outer horizontal part 41 arranged in the opening 16, a vertical part 42 extending downward from an end of the outer horizontal part 41, and an inner horizontal part 43 extending backward from a lower end of the vertical part 42, and is fitted to the valve body 5 to swing horizontally around a rear end of the inner horizontal part 43. To the vertical part 42, a cover member 6a covering a gas valve component at the lower part is attached. |
