摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery manufacturing method which involves manufacturing a high dispersibility electrode mixture paste and uses the electrode mixture paste.SOLUTION: In a secondary battery manufacturing method, an electrode mixture paste is manufactured by kneading powder and solvent components of the electrode mixture layer of a secondary battery together and an electrode plate including an electrode mixture layer formed from the electrode mixture paste is used to manufacture a secondary battery. The powder and the solvent components are wetted and preliminarily kneaded together by using the same materials for both of them as used when the electrode mixture paste is manufactured. In the wetting and preliminary kneading, a mixture ratio of the powder and the solvent components observed in cases where kneading torque shows such a transition that it indicates a peak value after once rising and then falls along with the passage of kneading time after the kneading started is determined to be a preferable mixture ratio. Then, production kneading is performed with the mixture ratio thus determined and at a shear rate not exceeding a shear rate during the wetting and preliminary kneading, in which way the electrode mixture paste is manufactured.
