PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive passenger conveyor in which a liquid can be prevented from intruding into the inside of a moving handrail from a space between the moving handrail and a handrail deck.SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor includes: a footstep to be moved circularly between an entrance and an exit; and balustrades 10 arranged on both sides of the footstep. The balustrade 10 includes: the moving handrail 12 to be moved circularly on the peripheral part of the balustrade 10; handrail panels erected on both sides of the footstep; a main deck 13 for supporting the handrail panel; and the handrail deck which is attached to the main deck 13 and used for supporting the moving handrail 12 slidably. Through-holes 23 to be formed to penetrate the main deck 13 are disposed at such a position that the moving handrail 12 turns around. |
