PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of simplifying transmission and reception processing by omitting prior setting when transmitting and receiving information between devices by human body communication.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a human body communication unit for transmitting and receiving signals via a part of human body in contact with or close to the communication unit; a connection detection unit for detecting that the human body communication unit is brought into contact with or close to the human body; a signal generating unit for generating a signal for requesting a reply of connection order information to be transmitted from the human body communication unit to the other device connected to the human body when the connection detection unit detects that the human body communication unit is brought into contact with or close to the human body; and a connection order setting unit for setting a connection order of own device on the basis of the connection order information received by the human communication unit according to the signal generated by the signal generating unit. |
