PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decrease in fixability in processing an image with a number of isolated dots.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: a density detection unit 50 that detects density of a toner remaining on a surface of an intermediate transfer belt 11 after a toner image is transferred from the surface; a fixing unit 15 that performs fixing with light radiated from a laser head 15a; and a control unit 60 that controls the laser head 15a. The control unit 60 is configured to adjust intensity of light radiated to the laser head 15a according to the density detected by the density detection unit 50. |
