The present invention provides an image hue determination method and a wireless handheld device, and relates to the field of image processing. The method comprises: acquiring color information of part of or all of pixels of an image, the color information comprising a hue value, a brightness value and a saturation value; according to the acquired brightness value and saturation value, determining a pixel whose hue value needs to be compared; comparing the hue value of the pixel with preset hue values of multiple candidate colors to determine a proximal candidate color, and accumulating a weight value of the pixel whose hue value needs to be compared to a weight value of the proximal candidate color, the hue values of the multiple candidate colors being uniformly sprayed on a hue circle; and taking the hue of the candidate color with the highest weight value as the hue of the image. The wireless handheld device comprises: a color acquisition module, a pixel determination module, a weight value accumulation module and a hue determination module. By means of the solutions, an integral hue value of an image can be rapidly and accurately calculated, and the visual feeling of human eyes can be really reflected. |
