The present proposal relates to the field of telephone communications (mobile, fixed-line or IP telephony), and specifically to limiting incoming calls to a telephone apparatus of a user at a domestic network operator level (up until the time at which an attempt is made by a domestic network operator to connect to a called subscriber). The device for limiting telephone network subscriber calls comprises the following, included in the subscriber line: a call reception unit, the output of which is connected to the input of a subscriber signalling and clearing unit, the first output of which is connected to the input of the call reception unit; a telephone apparatus with a line input and a connection input/output; and an access signal coding unit. Moreover, the device comprises: an unauthorized call recording unit and an unauthorized call reception and indication unit, wherein the subscriber signalling and clearing unit is in the form of a call sorting unit and is connected at its second output to the line input of the telephone apparatus, the connection output of which is connected via the access signal coding unit to the call sorting unit, the third output of which is connected via the unauthorized call recording unit and the unauthorized call reception and indication unit, which are connected in series, to the line input of the telephone apparatus. Furthermore, the unauthorized call reception and indication unit is in the form of an additional telephone apparatus, a voicemail box or an automatic answering machine.
