PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion apparatus which disperses high temperature cooling air flowing from a unit, in which a component with a large self-heating amount is mounted, to the cooling fan, thereby improving cooling performance of the cooling fan.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion apparatus comprises: a cooling fan unit 54 housed in a housing 2; a first unit 50 housed below the cooling fan unit; and a second unit 52 housed above the cooling fan unit. The cooling fan unit includes multiple cooling fans 54b, 54c, 54d, which exhaust cooling air, drawn from the front surface side vent hole, from the top surface side vent hole after causing the cooling air to pass through the first unit and the second unit, the multiple cooling fans 54b, 54c, 54d being disposed in parallel with each other. A cooling air dispersion passage 56, which disperses the cooling air passing through a component with a large self-heating amount into the multiple cooling fans of the cooling fan unit, is provided at a position located above the component 24 with the large self-heating amount of the first unit and between the cooling fan unit and the first unit. |
