<p>Concentration of stress at a recess formed in a sidewall portion of a tire is suppressed. A pneumatic tire (10) is provided with a recess (26) that is formed in a sidewall portion (22) connecting a tread (20) and a bead portion (12) and that indicates the state of wear of the sidewall portion (22). The recess (26) is formed in a tire side portion (30) with a radius of curvature of an opening edge (26B) of the recess (26) greater on a tire radial side than a radius of curvature of the opening edge (26B) on a tire circumferential side and not less than 10 mm.</p> |
