<p>A micro-controller unit (3) measures and records exposed radiation dosage from a detection output of a radiation detection unit (2), and when the exposed radiation dosage or the dose rate exceeds a predetermined threshold, issues a warning to the user by lighting and causing to flash an LED (4). The LED (4) faces opposite a light emitting/receiving element (62) of an electrical non-contact input device (6) installed on a display device (5), and also serves for the transmission and reception of recorded radiation dosage data and commands, data, and the like transmitted from the non-contact input device (6). This kind of a configuration makes possible a portable radiation dosimeter which is compact and capable of managing exposed radiation dosage over a long period without burdening the wearer.</p> |
