PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance amusement to play a game by increasing variations of methods for providing items for a user.SOLUTION: A video game control server includes a request information storage unit 16c for storing request information indicating: a task to be given to a user X in a video game; a condition for clearing the task; an item dropping rate indicating the probability of an item being a candidate dropping item to be given to the user X; and an item giving condition for giving the dropping item to the user X, a condition related to status information of the user X (e.g. attacking force of 50,000 or greater). The video game control server decides whether an item corresponding to a request should be a dropping item or not, decides that the item should be the dropping item, based on the item dropping rate corresponding to the task cleared by the user X, and gives the dropping item when the status information of the user X satisfies the item giving condition for the dropping item. |
