PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading apparatus capable of reading an image with no problem even when a read suspension event occurs during reading of a document.SOLUTION: When a read suspension event occurs during reading, reading is continued while a motor is decelerated, and when a read position of an image sensor has reached a stop position in the last read pixel of a document, the drive of the motor is stopped. Thereafter, the motor is driven again to resume reading from a pixel next to the last read pixel. |
