PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control priority control not to be performed for a specific subject by specifying the subject as a non-priority subject.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: image input means for inputting continuous images; subject detection means for detecting a subject from the images obtained by the image input means; subject tracking means for identifying the subject detected by the subject detection means on the basis of correlation between the images; subject processing means for performing prescribed processing for the subject detected by the subject detection means; and subject specification means for specifying a specific subject from at least the one subject detected by the subject detection means. If a specific subject is specified by the subject specification means with respect to the image input by the image input means and then the specific subject is determined to exist in the subject detected by the subject detection means with respect to the image input after the image input by the image input means, the imaging device excludes the specific subject from processing by the subject processing means.
