The invention relates to an injection device (1), comprising a housing (2) in which a receptacle (5) for a container containing injection fluid is formed. The injection device (1) has a control element (6) that can be turned for adjusting an amount of injection fluid to be extracted from the container and, when turned, moves in the direction of a longitudinal center axis (50) of the injection device (1) in the distal direction of the injection device (1) with respect to the housing (2). In order to extract injection fluid from the container, the control element (6) is displaced in the direction of the longitudinal center axis (50) in proximal direction of the injection device (1). The injection device (1) has a feed part (20) that is connected to the control element (6) in a rotatably fixed manner during the adjustment of the amount of injection fluid to be extracted and is displaced in the direction of the longitudinal center axis (50) in a distal direction, and that is connected to the housing (2) in a rotatably fixed manner when the injection fluid is extracted from the container and is displaced in the direction of the longitudinal center axis (50) in a proximal direction. In order that the operator can extract only constructively predefined, allowable quantities of injection fluid from the container, it is specified that the injection device (1) has a locking contour (55) extending in a spiral shape around the longitudinal center axis (50), which interacts with the feed part (20) and blocks a movement of the feed part (20) in a proximal direction. In at least one place, the locking contour (55) has a gap (53), which allows a movement of the feed part (20) in the direction of the longitudinal center axis (50) in proximal direction. |
