An air conditioner (1) is, as the external device control mode, set by the user to either continuous mode or non-continuous mode. When the air conditioner (1) is set to continuous mode, ON/OFF control of an external device by a human detection sensor (26) is enabled while the air conditioner is operating, whereas ON/OFF control of the external device by the human detection sensor (26) is disabled while the air conditioner is not operating. When the air conditioner (1) is set to non-continuous mode, ON/OFF control of the external device by the human detection sensor (26) is always enabled, regardless of whether the air conditioner is operating or not. |
