<p>Provided are an extrusion apparatus allowing a marked improvement in the texture of the extruded material, and an extrusion method using the extrusion apparatus. According to one aspect of the present invention for an extrusion apparatus for producing a predetermined shape by extruding inserted material to be extruded, an extrusion opening, which limits the shape of the material to be extruded, comprises a tapered portion having a cross-section which is perpendicular to a direction of extrusion and has a shape which varies in accordance with the direction of extrusion, wherein the a first cross-section of the tapered portion, perpendicular to the direction of extrusion, and the second cross-section of the tapered portion, spaced from the first cross-section along the direction of extrusion, have cross-sections of different shapes from each other, and the second cross-section is symmetric whereas the first cross-section is asymmetric with respect to a reference cross-section.</p> |
