PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizer, capable of suppressing occurrence of folds and wrinkles at an end part and suppressing blue change deterioration of a polarizer layer.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a polarizer having a polarizer layer and a protective film comprises: a stretching step of uniaxially stretching a laminated film formed of a base film and a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer; a pre-lamination removal step of cutting and removing both first end parts in a width direction after dyeing and bridging the resin layer of the laminated film; and a lamination step of laminating the protective film on the surface opposite to the surface on the base film side of the polarizer layer in the laminated film where the first end parts are removed, in this order. |
