PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm control device of a lens interchangeable camera capable of reducing the number of components in a camera body to simplify a configuration, and preventing the components in the camera body from being damaged due to sunlight entering into the camera body from an opening of a diaphragm device of a photographic lens.SOLUTION: When an input operation for switching a drive motor 53 from a power-on state to a power-off state is performed by a power switch 23 with a photographic lens 100 being attached to a camera body 10, control means 45 changes an aperture diameter of a diaphragm device 113 to the minimum via the drive motor 53, and then switches the drive motor 53 from a power-on state to a power-off state.
