PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining the presence of a cell related to high sensitivity, using an image cytometer, which can detect a cell showing chromosome polyploidy and having a cell mass culturing, in a cell group.SOLUTION: Using a method including a process (a) of bringing a fluorescent substance targeted at DNA and a cell sample originated in a cell group into contact with each other, a process (b) of measuring the DNA content of each cell in the cell sample, using an image cytometer, a process (c) of selecting a chromosome polyploidy cell, using an image cytometer, a process (d) of detecting the presence of cell growth of chromosome polyploidy cell, using an image cytometer, a process (e) of determining that the cell group contains a cell showing chromosome polyploidy and having cell mass culturing, in the case that the cell growth of the chromosome polyploidy cell is recognized, the presence of a cell showing chromosome polyploidy and having cell mass culturing, in the cell group, is determined by an image cytometer. |
