PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharging device capable of simplifying a structure of a heater which is necessary for detecting a nozzle discharge failure.SOLUTION: A printer has a plurality of individual channels each including a plurality of nozzles 22, an ink-jet head 4 having a manifold 25 where the plurality of individual channels commonly communicate with each other, a heater 50 which heats the ink in the manifold 25, and a temperature sensor 51 which detects the temperature of the ink in the manifold 25. After the ink in the manifold 25 is heated by the heater 50, droplets are discharged from the nozzles 22 of the ink-jet head 4. Discharge failures of the nozzles 22 are detected on the basis of temperature changes in the manifold 25 detected by the temperature sensor 51. |
