PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toppling prevention mechanism capable of preventing a housing from being toppled.SOLUTION: A copier 1 includes: an image formation unit 40 that forms an image on a sheet T; a housing that accommodates the image formation unit 40 therein; plural housing support wheels 70 that each have one end fixed to the bottom B1 of the housing and the other end placed on a floor surface FL and that support the housing; and a toppling prevention mechanism 80 that prevents the housing from being toppled. The toppling prevention mechanism 80 includes: a body member 81 that is attached to the bottom B1 side of the housing; a rubber foot 82 that is in contact with the floor surface FL; and a connection member 83 that has one end side coupled to the body member 81 and the other end side directly or indirectly coupled to the rubber foot 82. When the body member 81 moves in a rotating manner because the housing leans over with a predetermined housing support wheel 70 among the plural housing support wheels 70 as a fulcrum, the connection member 83 converts the direction of force so that force applied to the one end side in a predetermined direction becomes force in a vertical direction on the other end side. |
