PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating bismuth from copper electrolyte, capable of inexpensively and easily recovering high-purity bismuth.SOLUTION: The method for separating and recovering bismuth from copper electrolyte includes a recovery step having an adsorption treatment for bringing a copper electrolyte containing bismuth and antimony into contact with a chelate resin, and an elution treatment for bringing an eluting liquid into contact with the chelate resin after completion of the adsorption treatment. In the elution treatment, a general recovery step using a 1 mol/L hydrochloric acid solution as the eluting liquid is repeated, and a washing step of bringing a 2 mol/L or more hydrochloric acid solution into contact with the chelate resin is intermittently performed while the general recovery step is repeated. According to this, bismuth and antimony can be effectively separated and recovered, and the recovery efficiency of bismuth can be prevented from being reduced. |
