PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rust development in a fastening part disposed at an upper end portion of a shock absorber with respect to an upper mount by preventing water outside of a vehicle body from flowing toward the fastening part.SOLUTION: An upper structure of a strut suspension of a vehicle includes: an upper mount 13 which allows a bottom member 18 of a bottomed hole 20 to fasten an upper end portion of a shock absorber 9; and a cap 28 for closing the hole 20. The cap 28 includes: a cylindrical body 29 which is inserted into the hole 20; and a seal protrusion 33 which protrudes from an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body 29 and of which the protruding edge is pressed into contact with an inner circumferential surface of the hole 20. A bottom member 30 is provided for closing a lower side of an internal space 32 of the cylindrical body 29, and also an internal space 32 is opened upward. While fitting the cap 28 into the hole 20, the seal protrusion 33 is allowed to protrude up toward the inner circumferential surface of the hole 20, and in a portion of the cylindrical body 29 in the vicinity of an upper side of a base part of the seal protrusion 33, a through-hole 36 is formed which communicates the inside and the outside of the internal space 32. |
