PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to form a cover member (bump stopper cap) having an excellent press-fitting state with respect to a cylinder through the use of a synthetic resin.SOLUTION: A suspension device includes a cylinder 71 filled with a liquid, a piston housed in the cylinder, a piston rod 20 which supports the piston and partially protrudes from the cylinder, bump rubber disposed around a circumference of the piston rod protruding from the cylinder, and a bump stopper cap 100 made of synthetic resin which covers a circumference of the cylinder between the cylinder 71 and the bump rubber. The bump stopper cap 100 has a cylindrical side section 110, a covering section 120 which is provided at one of ends in a direction of a center line of the side section 110 and covers an opening at one of ends, and a press-fitting section 130 which protrudes inward while tilting from a radial direction DL and forms a contact part when the cylinder 71 is press-fitted into the side section. |
