The method involves coating a material (18) on a bonding surface (16) of one workpiece (10). The bonding surface of one workpiece is bonded on the bonding surface (14) of another workpiece (12) by heating the material with electron beams, laser beams, friction welding or induction heat. The bonding surfaces are provided with the axial and peripheral surface. One workpiece is made of ceramic material and another workpiece is made of steel.
