PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily dispose a device on a panel member, to easily change the position of the device, and to easily perform wiring. SOLUTION: A mounting member 1 is used for mounting a predetermined device on a panel member upwardly extending from a floor surface or downwardly extending from a ceiling surface. The mounting member comprises a mounting member body extending in a columnar shape, a fixing part for fixing the mounting member body on the panel member, and a groove part extending along a part or all of the mounting member body in the longitudinal direction and storing the predetermined device or the mounting part of the predetermined device.
