<p>The material webs (5,6) are continuously fed to an applicator (1). The material web (6) is cut transversely to longitudinal extent by a knife roller (1a) of applicator to produce web portions (6a). The web portions are frictionally contacted with roller (1b) which is rotated at higher speed than feeding speed of material web. The web portions are transferred to roller (1c) in tangential direction. The material web (5) is fed to a roller (1d), and the web portions are fed to roller (1d) and are connected to connecting portions of material web (5) at roller which is rotated at high speed. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an applicator; and (2) a hygiene product.</p> |
