摘要 <p>The method involves providing a helical spring having length intended for a curved fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) pipe (1). The helical spring is shaped according to characteristics of the pipe. The helical spring is wrapped with reinforcement fiber material that is formed as a laminate, according to wall thickness of the pipe and impregnated with curable resin matrix before and/or after winding the helical spring with the reinforcement fiber material. The resin matrix is cured to form plastic composite and the pipe. The laminate comprises reinforcement fibers from glasses, carbon, polymer i.e. aramid, metal, and ceramic, and/or natural fibers. The resin matrix is duroplastic resin matrix. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a curved FRP pipe (2) a device for manufacturing a curved FRP pipe.</p>
