<p>An eyelash curler 50 includes a first arm 52 having an eyelid engaging surface 15 and a curling surface 17. A second arm 53 is connected to and moveable relative to the first arm 52, the second arm 53 having a gripping member 28 configured to co-operate with the curling surface 17 on relative movement between the two arms 52, 53. An electrically-powered heating element 22 is in thermal contact with at least one of the curling surface 17 or the gripping member 28 and there is means 32, 33 arranged to energise the heating element 22. The heating element may be a resistance wire or a thermistor. Control means may be provided to control the temperature of the heating element.</p> |
