<p>An electric vehicle has a battery pack which can be mounted to and detached from the vehicle body. Male-side terminals 63 are accommodated in a terminal base 29 provided on the vehicle body, and battery terminals 73 are provided which can connect to the male-side terminals 64 from above. An upper surface of the terminal base 29 is formed with vehicle body engagement parts 59, and battery case engagement parts 60 are provided on a battery case which can engage with the vehicle body engagement parts 59 from above. The vehicle body engagement parts 59 are offset to one side from the lateral centre of the vehicle. The battery case engagement parts 60 are correspondingly offset to one side of the battery case 20, and are formed at front and back portions of the battery case 20, in order that the battery case engagement parts 60 can fit with the vehicle body engagement parts 59.</p> |
