PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flip-up seat chair wherein a damper mechanism is made compact and compactly arranged near a seat support shaft and the vertical dimension of a seat and a housing space of the damper mechanism are reduced. SOLUTION: The damper mechanism 50 includes: a cylinder damper 51 provided so as to be directed back and forth inside a seat 3 on the front side of a seat support shaft 10a and composed by protruding a piston rod 51a backward; and a link arm whose front end is pivoted to the rear end of the piston rod 51a and rear end is pivoted on the rear surface side of the seat support shaft 10a across the seat support shaft 10a from above so as to be turned in the vertical direction by pivots 63 and 60 directed sideways, respectively.
