Device for phase selection

The device (10) has a phase selection element for associating a lamp of light band device to a phase (L1) among the phases (L1-L3). The phase selection element is electrically connected with a lead wire (L) and a backup unit (18). A control device is provided to protect the lamp and auxiliary device against over-current. The phase selection element is formed by the backup unit which is provided to connect the phase with the lead wire.
