PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device, and a blower unit for the same, capable of always making use of cold air for cooling by arranging an air intake port and air exhaust ports at an upper and lower positions further away from each other and dividing the intake port and the exhaust ports, effectively using air flow, and enhancing heat radiation effects of a cooling means such as a fan.SOLUTION: The lighting device is provided with the blower unit 140 of a centrifugal fan for blowing air sucked from the air intake port 131 toward a heat sink 130 via vent holes 149 fitted to a sheet metal cover 147, fan blades 143 fitted to the blower unit 140 and each having a fan diameter larger than that of the vent holes 149, and air exhaust ports 132 for exhausting air blown from the lower unit 140 and colliding against the heat sink 130. A structure is adopted in which the air exhaust ports 132 are fitted further downward than a top end of the fan blades 143. |
