PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device capable of selecting an optimum wireless communication means for suppressing power consumption and capable of changing a wireless communication means to the optimum one for suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: A wireless communication device having a plurality of wireless communication means 1 and 2 with different communication systems, has: measurement means 10a that measures power consumption for each of the plurality of means that are used in communication or test communication by each communication system and that includes the wireless communication means 1 or 2, in the communication or the test communication; calculation means 10 that calculates a total power consumption that is a total sum of the power consumption for each measured by the measurement means 10a; storage means 4b that stores the total power consumption calculated by the calculation means 10; and first selection means 10 that selects a communication system to be used at the start of communication, based on the total power consumption in communication for each communication system. |
