摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread cutting working method capable of reducing displacement in a working facility and enhancing stability of working accuracy regarding a shape of a screw part. SOLUTION: In the thread cutting working method, by performing a plurality of cutting passes for feeding out a cutting tool applied to a workpiece 1 in a constant feeding direction (see arrow mark C) parallel to a rotation axis by a predetermined feeding amount relative to the workpiece 1, i.e., an object to be worked rotated making a predetermined axis a rotation axis while increasing a cutting-in amount relative to the workpiece 1 of the cutting tool in every cutting pass, a screw part 10 is formed on the workpiece 1. When the final (ninth) cutting pass is performed, machining allowance (12a, 12b) remained on a pair of cutting surface forming a V shape in a cross section shape including the rotation axis the screw part 10 is largely distributed to a cutting surface (front side flank 11a) at a front side in a feeding direction than a cutting surface (rear side flank 11b) at a rear side in the feeding direction of the pair of cutting surfaces.
