A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to integrate plural semiconductor devices such as plural resistance devices including plural capacitors, thereby simplifying the production process of the display panel and reducing production cost. A display device comprises a display panel(20), plural data ICs(Integrated Circuits)(40), and plural device forming units(70). The display panel has plural data lines and plural gate lines. The plural data ICs are mounted on the side of the display panel to supply an image signal to the data lines. The plural device forming units are mounted in a side of the display panel to generate or convert control signals for controlling the display panel and the data ICs and output the control signals. |
