<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panic demand detection device and a panic demand detection method that detect articles which can be transacted at higher prices than usual. <P>SOLUTION: A panic demand detection device (1) includes stock state gathering means (111) of gathering the number of articles in stock from an article selling site (2); deficiency score calculation means (112) of calculating a deficiency score indicating that deficiency of the articles is higher as the number of articles in stock is smaller; retrieval query group specification means (121) of specifying related words of the articles as an article retrieval query group for retrieving the articles; retrieval score calculation means (122) of referring to a retrieval catalog and calculating a retrieval score indicating that attention degrees of the articles are higher as the appearance number of the article retrieval query group is larger; and panic demand determination means (141) of determining that the articles are in an over-demand state equal to or higher than a predetermined degree when retrieval scores are equal to or larger than values determines by values of the deficiency score. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
