The grinder has a grinding device (21) arranged at a working head (3), which is movably attached at a machine frame (1). The grinding device comprises a drive shaft, which is vertically extended with respect to an abrasive belt plane and connected to an output roller in a torque-proof manner. The output roller is arranged in the abrasive belt plane such that an abrasive belt (11) engages with the output roller along a circumference of the abrasive belt and rotationally drives the output roller.
