PURPOSE: A ship power operating system and an operating method thereof are provided to control power waste by separately storing dump power. CONSTITUTION: A ship power operating system comprises a main power generator (1), a secondary battery (2), and a main switchboard (3). The main power generator supplies power consumed in various devices (4) to the various devices by generating the power. The secondary battery separately store dump power which is reminded after the power is consumed or supplies the power again. The main switchboard supplies the power of the main power generator to the secondary battery or the devices.
