Provided is a distribution detection device including: waveform monitor means which monitors an eye opening shape of an eye pattern waveform expressing an optical signal which passes through an optical fiber according to the sampling result of the optical signal; eye opening calculation means which detects a maximum opening length in the voltage direction and the maximum opening length in the phase direction of the eye pattern waveform according to the information expressing the eye opening shape monitored by the waveform monitor means; and distribution amount detection means which detects a polarization distribution amount and the wavelength distribution amount of the optical signal according to information expressing the maximum opening length in the voltage direction and information expressing the maximum opening length in the phase direction detected by the eye opening calculation means. |
