PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a surface protection film and a manufacturing equipment of the film are provided to obtain a cover protection film which has non-adhesion on one side, which is not easily blocked when the film is being rolled and piled up, and which has with little fish eye distortion. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a surface protection film comprises a process of obtaining a molten layer (process 1), a process of obtaining a film (process 2) and a process of rolling the film (process 3). The right end of a thermoplastic resin molten layer is adjusted to be located between the right end of a cooling roll for metal materials and the right end of an elastic roll. The left end of the thermoplastic resin molten layer is adjusted to be located between the left end of the cooling roll for metal materials and the left end of the elastic roll.
